United Nations Multi-Storey Building Seismic Assessments
Mathew Dickey (Structural/Civil Engineer) has recently returned from completing initial seismic building assessments of eight multi-storey buildings for the United Nations Department of Safety & Security in the Pacific region. One building was located in Port Vila, Vanuatu, with the remaining seven buildings located in Suva, Fiji. The buildings are tenanted by United Nation agencies, and ranged from five storeys, to fifteen storeys high. Newly Licensed Cadastral Surveyor at BTW
Taryn Martin recently sat and passed his Professional Entrance Examinations with the New Zealand Institute of Surveyors. Following graduation from University this involved: Sitting a laws and regulations examination, tabulating working hours on specific tasks, completing projects on various surveying disciplines and finally sitting five verbal interviews with NZIS examiners in Wellington. Keith has been a Naki boy his whole life. He grew up on the farm in South Taranaki before moving north to New Plymouth, where he attended secondary school at Francis Douglas Memorial College.
