Last night BTW attended the SiteSafe – 2023 Health, Safety and Wellbeing Awards in Auckland together with Sayer Drainage representatives.
Due to Covid restrictions, it was the first time the awards evening had been held since 2019, and it was great to see the event well attended.
BTW and Sayer Drainage entered the River Road Subdivision (Stage 1) in Ngāruawāhia for the Safety Contribution Award (Small Team).
This award is for a team that has demonstrated an outstanding contribution to health and safety in construction and has inspired positive change and action in the area of health and safety.
Great to come away with a win in this category and that the number of safety complexities and challenges that were considered and resolved on this project were acknowledged.
Ngā mihi maioha to all who were involved.
