BTW is delighted to see the Government’s commitment of just over $8.5 million towards the development of Ngāmotu Marae.
Through our strong working relationship with Ngāti Te Whiti and project partners, we have seen the vision, commitment and years of mahi behind this kaupapa. This funding is an important milestone that will help Ngāmotu Marae move forward and become a cultural home for the hapū, as well as a place of connection, learning and growth for the wider community.
We congratulate Ngāti Te Whiti and everyone who has worked to bring this long-held vision closer to reality.
