Our story and passion for bringing professional services to the regions of Aotearoa New Zealand began 50 years ago. Since 1973, BTW has been leading the way with a multidisciplinary approach and smart solutions for clients and communities, delivered safely and responsibly.
This symbol (above) was designed to celebrate 50 years as a New Zealand owned and operated company. Balancing the past with the future, it represents the many people across BTW’s team, consultant and client networks, and the communities in which we operate who have contributed to our continued development, best practice commitment and broad project delivery. It also speaks to our optimism, resilience, leadership, and collaborative approach.
Based on the unfurling fern frond of the native New Zealand silver fern and Takarangi (a Māori spiral-like graphic), the circular shape portrays the concept of perpetual movement and growth. As we move forward embracing change, we are guided by the past and anchored by our shared knowledge and connection to place and people.
Together, the koru, seeds and circle elements represent the 50 years of BTW, and the next steps we take into the future.
