BTW is proud to have supported Genesis Energy in the delivery of its new LPG depot in Drury, Auckland, providing multidisciplinary expertise from early project planning through to construction.
Working collaboratively with the Genesis team and other project partners, our involvement spanned site selection, development of layout options, resource and building consenting, and construction support to help bring this important piece of energy infrastructure to life.
Our contribution included:
- Environmental support, including detailed site investigations and preparation of the Environmental Management Plan
- Planning support for the Assessment of Environmental Effects (AEE) application
- Structural engineering design for the fill shed and LPG tank bund and support of the building consent application
- Civil and three waters engineering for the site development works
Projects like this demonstrate the value of a collaborative, multi-disciplinary approach and strong partnerships between client, consultant, and contractor teams.
